Montage Laguna Beach

Hi friends,

Have you ever been to California? We’re originally from Southern California and we decided to explore the area’s sunny landscape over the weekend in search of new travel gems. It’s amazing the treasures you can unearth in your own backyard! We checked out the Montage Laguna Beach, one of the areas most reputable resorts, and its grounds did not disappoint.

Set on an oceanfront bluff with sweeping panoramas of the Pacific Ocean and striking Craftsman-style architecture, this 248-room luxury beach resort is set on 30 lushly landscaped acres in the heart of the picturesque arts community of Laguna Beach (midway between Los Angeles and San Diego).

Laguna Beach is known for its cool art galleries and the Montage is appropriately appointed with a couple really unique art pieces like this mermaid-esque statue…

Its walkways are lined with beautiful, vibrant flowers that scream springtime. Winter? What’s that???

A cup of coffee and this ocean view = bliss.

And once you’re on the beach, the view only gets better…

Not to mention, there are some pretty incredible sunsets…

And beautiful stone fire-pits to relax by after sunset. Time for a glass of wine, anyone???

After the sun fully disappeared into the ocean, we checked out the interior of the resort.

The beach here is even lit at night, which makes for some pretty spectacular mood lighting – but sorry skinny-dippers, you won’t be able to sneak in unnoticed.

After taking in the gorgeous scenery, our mini-vacay had to come to an end. We hope to go back soon to check out the guest rooms, restaurants and other offerings at Montage Laguna Beach.
