Hi friends,
Hope your week is off to a good start! Many of you have asked to hear more about our honeymoon stay at a Cancun resort – and if you’ve read our earlier posts, you know our trip to Mexico was quite the adventure! Swimming with whale sharks, zip-lining and exploring caves at Xplor Mexico – we got a little taste of the amazing activities this country has to offer and it left us hungry for more.
Do you like more adventure or relaxation on your trips? We like a healthy mix of both. But we know many of you just want to relax and enjoy the finer things in life – like laying on the beach with a Pina Colada in hand. So we thought we’d tell you about our experience soaking up the sun and enjoying some ocean-side bliss at a Cancun resort called El Dorado Seaside Suites. This resort was the first stop on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. We believe there are three key ingredients that make a great resort…
We quickly learned that this is by far the most popular restaurant at the resort, so if you plan to eat there, we recommend arriving early in the dinner hour, or late at night just before the restaurant closes. The resort also offers a full-service spa, fitness facility and salon. They also have a variety of activities, including ceramics painting and massage technique classes for couples. El Dorado Seaside was a heaven on earth – it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but with a the amenities it included, we didn’t want to stray away from the resort for one second.
Have you every been to a resort that feels like heaven on earth? Where was it?
We want to know so we can add it to our bucket list!
The Riviera group is always notable for the amenities and services provided on hand. I especially relish the spa in the Riviera Hotel Taipei. It’s such a luck I have been there for a vacation with my folks and took an aromatic spa and drenched in joy to the fullest 🙂
Hi Lovisa! The Riviera Hotel Taipei sounds lovely – we wouldn’t mind going for an aromatic spa trip after a long day! 🙂
